I want to know which genius in Washington first decided that it would be a good idea for us to spend 500 million dollars on a national park 1000 miles from our mainland? I mean really, are you guys that ignorant and out of touch with reality? Come on man, our country is a gazillion trillion dollars in debt and we are going to actually spend money on some insignificant island out in the Atlantic (or was it the Pacific)?
Listen you arrogant jerks! We have bigger "fish to fry" right now than buying up that stupid little island. All you rich congressmen that think this is a good idea; take it out of your own dang pocket if it means that much to you, and stay out of mine. Why don't you use that 500 million to bring home some of our troops from Germany(who hate us) and put them on the border to defend against the hordes of Mexicans flooding our country and sucking us dry?
I've got another good idea. How about we use that money to make 500 new millionaire families instead of enriching the one arrogant jerk who owns the island right now? How about we use that money to fund some more veterans homes or funding the American Heart Association, at least that way we could all benefit from it. I can think of a whole bunch of stuff we need to spend money on before we go buy this stupid little island. I just bet the man who owns the island is friends with one of our soon to be ex-congressmen and that is why this deal is being done!
You people that vote for stuff like this, you are about to be out of a job in a few months! Thanks to jerks like you my taxes have gone up, gas cost twice what it should, and there are hordes of illegals buying groceries and getting medical care from MY tax money! Shame on you! I hope every incumbent is out of a job this November.
