Troop Moral

I've been hearing that the moral of our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq is at all time lows. I guess that supposed to be some kind of news flash to the common kool-aid drinkers of the main stream media. You know what, if my life were on the line and my boss wouldn't let me fully defend myself my moral would be low too.

The greatest tragedy and the most asinine thing I've ever seen in my life is that America politicians want to fight wars by some silly misguided rules. Of course none of our enemies follow those rules, but God help us if we don't. If we get into a military confrontation then we need to simply kill the enemy, no matter where they are, and be done with it. We have these stupid politician's who send our troops off to battle but will never let them bring their full force to bear on an enemy. You can't win a fight unless you give it everything you've got. We've spent the time and money training our soldiers how to kill and they do it very well, thank you very much. If the "doves" up in DC would just get out of the way our military could end these conflicts fairly quickly and we'd be done with it. Who the heck cares who we offend. If we hadn't let the enemy move in amongst us we'd be better able to defend ourselves. That's right, we've got several million of the enemy living right here and at the blessing of our stupid government! If you don't think that is so then you have your head buried in the sand. It wasn't some white guy or black guy that went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood the other day. It was a middle eastern guy that did it. Just like it was middle eastern guys that flew those planes into the world trade centers and into the pentagon on 9/11.

These rag-heads are smart enough to know that if they hide out in religious place's our "doves" that lead our country, will not allow our military to touch them. They can hide out among and terrorize their own civilian population and know that America will not attack villages and wholesale slaughter the "innocents". What if the WW 2 generation fought their war that way? All of Europe and Russia would have all been speaking German by now. There wouldn't be a Jew left alive in Europe or Asia. Just three generations ago our leaders understood that war meant you did everything in your power to win, and it was at all costs. I think any politician who sends troops into battle and then gives them some silly rules to follow ought to be tried and convicted of murder for any troops that die as a result of some stupid rules-0f-engagement.

When we started this Iraq war I knew we were in trouble from the first day when I saw that the media was embedded with our troops. The media is the last thing we ever need in a war zone. It's not just the Dem's that do stupid stuff like this, G dub was the one who allowed the 4th estate to travel with the troops. I can just imagine what the troops think about this situation and the media would probably go screaming and crying if they really understood how bad the troops hate them. Were it not for the "sobbing sisters" in our media, the Iraq war would have been over a long time ago. Were it not for the "Chicken-Hawks" that started this war, we'd have been done with it and the troops would be home by now. It's simple, you fight with everything you have, you win, you go home!

Am I the only one that is bothered by the politicians needlessly expending the lives of our men and women that serve in our armed forces? Does it not bother anyone other than me that we are not allowed to win? We have folks that volunteer to be in our military and our politicians don't mind expending their lives for some mindless politically correct wartime rules! I hate that! Thank God Roosevelt and that bunch didn't make our troops fight that way during WW 2!
