What I Want

In an idea world these are some of the things I'd like to see our federal government do:

1. Not be allowed to spend even one dime over what is taken in from all revenues. In fact, I'd like to see the government have to save 2% or more for a "rainy day" fund. Any politician that proposed deficit spending would be "tarred and feathered" and run out of town.

2. Abolish the Education Department and let local schools run their own business. This is not a business the federal government needs to be in and this department costs us many billions of dollars each year.

3. Abolish the department of Homeland Security. How many overpaid bureaucrats did we add to the already overburdened taxpayers tax bill? Let the FBI and local law enforcement do their jobs. Here's another novel idea, how about letting the citizens help out here? It's my country, I don't need somebody with a badge to protect me if the dang court system would get out of the way.

4. Cut off all immigration from the middle east. If I have to explain that you are an idiot.

5. Pull all our troops out of Europe (they hate us there) and put them all on our border with Mexico and completely lock it down. That would save us tons of money each year with the local schools, food stamps, medicaid, and other give away programs that the large majority of these people take advantage of.

6. Empty our prisons of illegal aliens and ship them back to their home country! They will not be getting back inside once we put all our troops that were in Europe on that border. By the way, we ought to completely "clean out" death row once a month. That would surely be a deterrent to violent crime since the criminals could see that they might actually die.

7. Cut off all public assistance to able bodied people. That means all the young punks and thugs that do nothing but take away from society would actually have to get out and find some type of work to do or they would starve to death. There would be a big plenty of jobs for these ner-do-wells to do if we send all the illegal Mexicans home. Yes, I know that there would be a lot of children that would be hurt, but the way we are going all our children will eventually wind up in a soup kitchen somewhere down the road. Eventually I'll make a whole post just on this subject.

8. Eliminate all lobbyist groups from existence. If a representative truly had his districts best interest at heart he or she wouldn't need to listen to these lobbyist groups.

9. Stop all foreign aid. We are absolutely broke, last I checked we are 13 Trillion dollars down now and can't even take proper care of ourselves. We've spent many billions of dollars of our treasure in third world countries without any good coming out of it. In fact, most of those people hate us and that's reason enough to cut them off. We have enough natural resources here to not have to send another dime to the middle east....that is if we could get the Al Gore crowd to sit down and shut up long enough for us to become energy independent.

10. Get us out of the UN! We spend more money on that organization than does the rest of the world and everyone of those *&*^*#^% vote against us when we are trying to get things done.

11. Leave me alone! I don't need you for much of anything except to defend our shores and borders, and to deliver the mail. The states could take care of everything else if you fed's would get out of the way.
