Flags....again!

I had a whole other post ready to post today until I watched the news this morning. I hate to keep beating up on Mexicans, but some of them will just not leave well enough alone. Of course, I'm going to address what happened in the school out in California. For those of you that don't know about this, just watch FOX news and they'll get you up to date. The short and dirty is that two students in Cali wore t-shirts that depicted the American flag to school on May 5th, which is a MEXICAN holiday. Some of the MEXICANS didn't like it and were offended and the two students were sent home to change out of their OFFENSIVE shirts.

I'm going to state again that I don't have any hate, so to speak, towards Mexicans.(getting there though). I understand that if I were born in that country I would want to come here in order to make a better life for myself. The whole problem I have with a certain segment of our unwelcome and unwanted visitors is the lack of humility and thankfulness to their benefactors.
Some of these folks need to be reminded who feeds them and to which side their "bread is buttered on", so to speak.

First of all, we need to get rid of this political correctness crap! You are either an American or your not. Yes, you may have slanted eyes,brown skin, be short,tall,pale, or whatever but either you're an American or your not! I don't care where you came from or where your granddaddy 15 times removed came from, if you are a citizen of the United States of America that makes you an American not some hyphenated bastardized name! Most of the racial problems we have today stem from the LIBERALS amongst who who want to be culturally diverse or as they like to say "multi-cultural". Multiculturalism is just an excuse for whatever adverse behavior someone wants to display. All this diversity crap stems from the white liberals and their guilt about the way they perceive certain groups are treated! What a load of hogwash! The only way the average person in this country is poor or mistreated is because they are lazy, not because they or of a certain skin color! Then again our definition of poor relates to not having a plasma screen tv,computers, Internet,satellite or cable tv,ipods cell phones and a nice car!

But, I digress. I got off on another rant that needs to be done some other time. Anyway, if you live in this country legally, then you need to except the fact that the STARS and STRIPES are flown here, not your supposed "mother countries" flag. I do not want to see your Mexican flag or any other flag and you better not tell me that you are offended by me wearing an American flag or flying one. If you don't like the flag then take your rear back to where you came from. This is MY country and I will not have some foreigner tell me they are offended by our holidays or displays or symbols depicting loyalty or love of MY country.

Cinco de Mayo or whatever you call that Mexican celebration is not OUR holiday! If you want to celebrate May 5th as it pertains to Mexico then you can do it in your own home or back in YOUR country. I don't owe that celebration any respect but you do owe our flag your respect if you live here. Shame on that California school for sending those two students home for wearing a shirt that has OUR flag on it! I don't give a hoot who gets offended by that if they are here in MY country! You were not born here and we dang sure didn't ask you to come. I'll say it again, if you think Mexico is all that great then go home!
