Thank God I'm Free!

I just left the street here by my office where I paid my respects to a fallen Marine. For several miles people lined the street on both sides, holding American flags, and many many others stood quietly with their hands over their hearts. What struck me is how silent everyone was and you could hear nothing other than the sounds of the hundreds of vehicles that made up the parade. The Marines remains were flown in too our little local airport and then was given a grand procession to the funeral home. There were several hundred bikers riding before and after the hearse, I'm assuming most if not all were vets from one service or the other considering the patches and the flags that were worn or attached to their bikes. There were local police,sheriff, state troopers, constables, fire trucks,and many other types of vehicles in the parade.

What a touching scene and what pure emotion from the citizens. God bless the Marines and all the other military services. What an outpouring of emotion and sympathy and I'd like to think more than anything else, respect and gratitude for his service and the sacrifice of his family.

Before us now we have politicians that would enslave us and so willfully disregard the sacrifice this young man has made and all the hundreds of thousands who have lain down their lives for this country to be free. I think of the millions who have served and have sacrificed to see that we remained free from oppression and slavery. Now we have a president and a bunch of politician's who are trying their best to put us under the yolk of communism such as the old Soviet Union! Why! Why is it that certain Americans don't want us to be a free people? Why did this young man, or for that matter, so many young men have to give their lives just to see what they fought for go away on the whims of people who should know better?

Our military veterans deserve better! We owe a debt to our fighting men and women and all the ones who gave their lives's to keep us free. Let's not let people such as Barrack Obama and Nancy Pelosi enslave us! Let us rise up and defeat these people and send them home where they belong. Wake up America! There is a train coming and it's going to run over us if we don't stop it!
