Hard Work

Our founding fathers did indeed base the idea of the United States of America on the principles of the Christian bible. I can't find, anywhere in our history, except for the last few decades where there was such a thing as welfare given to people that did not work. Our country was founded on the principle that we had the right to PURSUE happiness, not a guarantee of happiness.

Our founding fathers, according to the declaration of Independence pledged not only their lives, but their fortunes to secure the liberty of the American people. If you read history we find that most of the signers of the declaration did indeed giver their lives and their fortunes in order to form these United States.

The United States of America is just the latest in the line of western civilization to fall into socialism/communism and I believe it's because we have forgotten where we've come from. You talk to a lot of young folks today and they doubt their really is a God that looks after us all. A huge number of this generation and certainly a good portion of the last generation have forgotten or indeed not been taught it all that the path to freedom is work! The work ethic is not being taught in the home and our kids are suffering for it, our country is dying because of it!

Here I go quoting the bible. I've stated before in some of my posts that I am a Christian. You may read some of my posts and see some profanity, or what some people call profanity, and wonder if I'm truly a Christian. I would have to say that I more Christian now than I ever was when I was younger. I understand that I am not perfect, yes I'm a hypocrite sometimes, but I am forgiven. If you can't deal with that then there is nothing I can say to change your mind and you'll have to live with it, not me.

Here we go with the bible quoting. 2 Thessalonians 3:6-14: In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat any one's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to follow. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: If a man will not work, he shall not eat. We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat. And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right. If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed."

We have whole families that would literally starve to death if we didn't feed them, because they will not work! We have created a situation where there are millions of people who will steal from their neighbors out of laziness and the bible says that shouldn't be so. Our founding fathers never intended our government to be all things to all people and they dang sure wouldn't have allowed folks to lay up on their butts and draw there sustenance from the sweat of another person's brow!

Here is another commandment from the bible. 1 Thessalonians 4:11: "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you. so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

How often do we cause trouble in our lives because we do not follow the teachings of the bible. Here I am, yelling at the world, and the bible is telling me to live a quiet life and mind my own business! In this, I feel like I am minding my own business because the business of the USA is part of my business. I think its every ones responsibility to get off their rear ends and work! It's biblical, it what our founding fathers believed in. Because so many of our citizens and our unwelcome Mexican guest here in this country, it's hard for a worker to mind their own business and live a quiet life because our money is being confiscated, quite literally at the point of a gun, and handed over to the many millions that feed off the labor of our workers! IF you think I'm lying about your money being taken at the point of a gun; don't pay your taxes for a few years and find out what happens to you. You'll see that I'm telling you the literal truth.

In conclusion. When we get away from what God intended and indeed what is just human nature, many serious problems start festering and eventually the body either dies or there is a huge fight. People yearn to be free and don't appreciate having their bread they earned taken from them and given to someone who is not willing to earn their own!

Warning to all of you. A revolution is coming in our once great country. I don't know which side is going to win, but the fight is coming sooner than later and God help us all if the correct side doesn't win. Over the history of mankind, God has judged nations and has allowed nations to fall when if becomes corrupted and doesn't live according to his will. Our country was indeed blessed at one time, but that was back when we knew there was a God and our nation, as a whole, followed Christian principles. I'm not saying we all went to the same church, I'm saying that our nation understood there was a higher power and our morals were much stronger than they are today. Our nation has lost it's way and our welfare system is one of the shining examples of how far we've fallen. Hard work for a living is very scriptural and a Godly principle and our people have forgotten that. If you don't believe that, just look at all those big shot union people up north who are no longer working!
